Hydraulic Dual Side Acting Grips 1000kN
DuraSync® 2 Grips, Capacity 1000kN (225,000 lbf, 100,000 kgf)
Dual side-acting, hydraulic grips with patent-pending DuraSync design and semi-open back. Grips accommodate shorter specimens when using the AutoX 750 extensometer. Opposing clamping surfaces travel in a synchronized motion to provide automatic, on-center clamping of specimens. Capable of testing slightly bent or irregular specimens such as rebar or wire rod. Includes grip clamp, un-clamp and neutral controls on an ergonomic handset. Capable of Wire Strand and Thru-Zero (compressive load) Testing. Grip faces ordered separately.
Round and Flat Tensile Specimens:
- Use W-5461-x and W-5462-x jaw faces
- Minimum Specimen Length: 284 mm (11.2 in)
Wire Strand Specimens:
- Use W-5468 holders and W-5404-x Inserts
- Minimum Specimen Length: 467 mm (18.4 in)
Thru-Zero Flat and Round Specimens:
- Use W-5466-x and W-5467-x jaw faces
- Minimum Specimen Length: 284 mm (11.2 in)
Note: Minimum specimen lengths listed above are measured with zero clearance between upper and lower grips and do not account for the use of an extensometer.
